RV Hunting... just for fun!

Class C Motorhome
Fifth wheel RVs
Saturday morning dawned overcast and much cooler (temperatire 15ºC) with some early, light drizzle which had stopped by the time Bruce, Mark and I left for a little outing to McPhail's of Harriston (click the link if you really want to see where it is on Google Maps).

The object of the exercise
was just to see some new and used R.V.s for future reference.
Harvested wheat fields
Some vehicles were really luxurious, others just camper vans which were really small and others (like the interior photo, above right) was just right with the vehicle and the accommodation as one unit and much easier to drive than the larger "Fifth Wheel" variety (top left) which required being towed by a powerful truck.

By the time we headed back to Stratford the sky ad cleared and it was warming up again.

We are going camping later next week at Lion's Head on the Bruce Peninsula, about 2 and a half hours drive north of Stratford.

Rideside Library

Later in the afternoon while taking the dog for her daily afternoon constitutional around the neighbourhood, I came across this neat little setup on the sidewalk. A "Muskoka" chair and library of books to borrow or sit and read right there on the sidewalk.
How lovely it is to live in Stratford.

Saturday night dinner at Pazzo taverna and pizzeria in Stratford.
