Oot 'n' Aboot

Saturday afternoon in the mall in London
The weekend weather was sunny and warm.
On Saturday we drove down to London, Ontario to look at a solid state hard drive and computer case at a computer shop. Glynis wanted to look for a dress for an upcoming wedding. What a pleasant experience it was walking around the mall without hundreds of people walking aimlessly about like The Pavilion or Pine Crest or even Gateway for that matter.

Canada Geese on the bank of the
Avon River, Stratford

Sunday was another pleasant day so we took a stroll into Stratford via the lake on the Avon River, passing Canada geese, people walking their dogs, jogging or just sitting on the benches on the edge of the river enjoying the peace and tranquility that Stratford has in abundance.

We had brunch at the popular "Features" on the corner of Waterloo and Ontario Streets. In the photo on the right, Glynis and I sit in 2 conveniently placed chairs on the side walk outside a little gift/novelty shop while Bruce and the boys wait for a table in "Features" next door. No one seems too rushed in Stratford.
We walked back home afterwards, and stopped at the Festival Theatre for a look and heard the fanfare announcing the start of "The Three Musketeers" playing in the theatre.
