A pair of passing ducks settled in the swimming pool the other day. Abby was very interested. They swam around for a bit then flew off.
The eagle type birds we saw circling overhead do seem to be Turkey Vultures, it looks like that one
is sorted!

It hasn't been an eventful week
so far - I enjoy relaxing. Yesterday we drove to St Mary's for a light lunch at Tim Horton's. I wish we had this chain of coffee shops at home.

As we do every afternoon we took Chelsea (the Shih Tzu) for a walk around the neighbourhood. Growing in one of the gardens was this Echinacea plant which gro wild in eastern and central North America. They have been cultivated as garden plants.
Later in the day we trimmed the hedges.
